Jean Dujardin, Adèle Haenel, Albert Delpy Quentin Dupieux, who pushed the boundaries of reality in his previous films Rubber and Wrong, premiered his new film at the Directors' Fortnight section of Cannes. The film introduces us to Georges, a peculiar anti-hero who never takes off his leather jacket and becomes increasingly unstable and obsessed. Georges, who wants his talking leather jacket to be the only one left in the world, easily succumbs to madness. Starting off as a sinister dark comedy, Leather Jacket, as expected from Dupieux, evolves into an absurd snuff murder film with bizarre characters and unimaginable situations.
